11月15日晚上,我院2018届毕业生、桂林理工大学教师王柳博士在我院排演厅作了《如何做一名有梦想、认真、务实的大学生》的报告。全体2016级学生及部分其它年级学生参加。王芳宇院长主持。
王柳博士结合自己和夫人(本科毕业我院,博士毕业后在桂林理工大学工作,现在广州外语外贸大学学习英语,即将公派出国访学)在大学期间的学习、成长的经历,接地气地与学弟学妹们从“梦想决定未来”、“态度决定高度”、“行动决定成败”三个方面进行了深入交流。他告诉学弟学妹们,在大学期间要树立自信、明确目标、用心学习,才能出彩。最后,王博士与同学们进行了互动问答,将演讲推向高潮。
这场精彩报告是我院开展大学生素质提升论坛之一。大学生素质提升论坛是南岳学院营造良好学习氛围,对《大学生创新创业教育》的有益补充。
附:王柳博士介绍
王柳,男,1986年生,湖南祁阳人。2008年本科毕业于衡阳师范学院南岳学院,同年以总分412分考取湖南大学物理学硕士研究生并获得一等奖学金,2009年获得提前攻博资格攻读博士,于2013年6月获得物理学博士学位。曾荣获衡阳师范学院三好学生、优秀毕业生,湖南大学优秀研究生等荣誉称号。自2013年6月起,就职于桂林理工大学。主讲《电磁学》、《数理方程》、《大学物理》等本科生课程;参与省部级、市厅级教改项目多项,发表教学改革论文多篇。主要从事电磁波在金属微结构中的传输特性与调控方面的研究;近年来,主持或参与研究了国家级项目6项、省部级项目3项、市厅级项目3项;取得了一定的研究成果,在国内外学术期刊上发表科研论文20余篇。
